The LA Coliseum was a fantastic venue for the Gladiator MMA series

The warm LA Sun sets on the LA Coliseum in anticipation of the Gladiator MMA series. What an incredible venue for an MMA match. I really enjoyed photographing this event and seeing the fighters in the locker rooms before and after the fights.

MMA Fighter Rob Pearlman takes it to his opponent.

Rob Pearlman is an up and coming pro MMA fighter with incredible intensity. I got to meet Rob at the Gladiator MMA series at the Coliseum. His ferocity in the ring is contrasted by his calm demeanor before the fight. When I saw him in the locker room before the fight his demeanor caught my eye. Whereas the others were nervous or moving around, Rob was calm. He had that look in his eye. Frankly, I knew he was going to win when I looked at him. He had that look of determination, like he was fine with dying in the ring. This is him taking it to his opponent.
