Sunrise, Buzzard's Roost, Big Sur
Sunrise hits the mountains, with whips of fog peaking through the colorful trees. It reminded me of fall on the east coast. To see this sunrise, I got up at 4 am and hiked for an hour in the dark up a mountain. At times the trail was no more than 2 feet wide, one wrong step and I would have slid down the side of the mountain to a very uncomfortable landing. Thank goodness for headlamps! It was worth the trip! I took this image with my Canon 7D and Tamron's new 16-300 lens at 1/25 at f/14, 100 ISO with a tripod, polarizer and shutter release.
