Teaching Night Photography with Tamron USA in Yellowstone National Park.

This was an incredible trip to Yellowstone. We scouted the park for two days before the participants arrived, and we taught all day and all night. We literally did not sleep for 24 hours. Seeing the Milky Way at 2 am in Yellowstone was mind-blowing. It really gives you a sense of perspective about your place in the world.

The students and other instructors (Andre and Ken) were incredible. Great energy in the class. Everyone went home happy and tired.

Thanks to Tamron for bringing me on this trip. If you are photographing National Parks, the Tamron 15-30 should be in your kit. It's a terrific wide angle lens. I don't generally use if for mountains, as it makes them look smaller but if you want to capture a wide scene, it's incredible.
