Black and White - KAG

Here you can see the progression of my lighting technique from 2010-2016. Keep improving and keep striving to improve your technique. Many photographers won't show their earlier work, but I'm not ashamed. Photography takes practice and effort.

The many layers in this shot captured my eye. The train tracks, river and trees lead into the dark layer of low clouds, the mountain peaks, and then the upper clouds. It was a majestic view, and completely quiet, which I loved. I hiked about 100' down the side of a hill to get this shot, sadly, I lost my Tamron 16-300 on the hike back up when it fell out of my jacket pocket, tumbled down the hillside and hit a rock at the bottom. I should have used my camera strap...always carry a back up camera and lens when traveling. I did and it allowed me to contineu shooting.
