Here you can see the progression of my lighting technique from 2010-2016. Keep improving and keep striving to improve your technique. Many photographers won't show their earlier work, but I'm not ashamed. Photography takes practice and effort.
Andrew Szabo paddled from Los Angeles to Tijuana to raise awareness about the need to limit tuna fishing for ocean health. He hired me to photograph him to document his adventures for a magazine article.
I love photographing families and children at the beach with beautiful golden light. In Southern California we have amazing sunsets, particularly in October - March. If you are interested in a shoot by the beach, send an email to me, KAG@PHOTOSBYKAG.COM
I took this photo to show how I set up a glamorous photo shoot in the Louvre. It's amazing what you can do with a one light set up. Here I used a Manfrotto Lykos LED, which is very compact and portable. I used the very light Manfrotto be free tripod and the excellent 16-300 Tamron lens. The 16-300 has a great range, is very sharp and light which makes it a perfect travel lens.
Whether you want a studio headshot or an outdoor portrait at the beach with a golden sunset, I am here to help. I have a full compliment of high end glass from Tamron USA and ample lighting from Manfrotto to create the look you want. I promise a low pressure discussion, not a hard sales pitch.
