In the Cessna.
Shooting from a Cessna was more challenging than I anticipated. To maintain visual quality, I shot out of an open window. Holding a long lens steady while the wind was blowing it back was a challenge. These images were taken on an exceptionally clear day in Los Angeles after we had three rainstorms in one week during 2014. I met the pilot at the airport at 4:30 in the morning in order to catch these sunrise images. It was great fun flying to capture aerial photography of Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Santa Monica and the South Bay (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and Torrance) and I'll definitely do this again as soon as the conditions are right. If you have done aerial photography please send me an email, I'd love to hear about your experiences. KAG@photosbykag.com
